Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 is the sequel to Skyhook Games' 2021 mowing sim, and this time the business is American. The developer crowdfunded its way to self-publishing (the Kickstarter closed at £20,022 from 407 backers) and rebuilt the game around player feedback on the original.
The pitch: run a lawn-care company across 11 USA locations — suburban lawns through commercial and municipal contracts — using licensed machines from Kubota, STIGA and SCAG. Career mode gets a full overhaul: a 3D, fully explorable headquarters you run the business from, deeper character customisation, and new job types like leaf blowing and weed clearance alongside the mowing itself.
It released September 23, 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam Deck. US store price is $29.99 (EU 24,99€, UK £21.99) with no launch discount. A free demo is still playable.
